I have a Ph.D. in English from the Claremont Graduate University. Currently I am a faculty member in the English Department at California State University, East Bay.
Experience
I have extensive tutoring at all grade levels, with specialization in high school and college subject areas. I have been an SAT and GRE Instructor for the English language reading and writing sections. I enjoy working with young students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I have also worked with students who have learning disabilities including Attention deficit disorder and dyslexia. I am a writer and have published my own instructional text book on writing as well as writing essays for standardized tests. My tutoring experience covers 20+ years, particularly for high school and college students.
